The largest African reserve by the Rufiji River and its tributaries which form a network of lakes ideal for boat safaris. Wildlife observation and bird watching (350 catalogued species) take place in a superb natural setting. Respecting nature's rhythm, you can be assured of close contact with the wildlife.

How to get there: from Dar es Salaam, 8-hour drive or 1h 30-charter flight.

To do: walking safaris with a ranger and 4 wheel rive safaris.

Do not miss: a relaxing afternoon watching the wildlife through binoculars on the banks of the river. Near Iringa, a stop in prehistoric Isimila where you will find impressive natural red earth pillars eroded by the centuries.
